Detailed Description Tenders are invited for Purchasing card (pcard) program
BACKGROUND: The City of Roanoke, Purchasing Division manages the City’s Purchasing Card Program and is responsible for the compliance of all policies and procedures pertaining the use of purchasing cards (P-Cards). The program is intended to reduce paper handling and supplement the use of system generated Purchase Orders and invoices that are at and below the City’s single transaction limit of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) and monthly limit of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00). Note that there a few departments/division who are approved for a higher monthly limit and the Purchasing Division may from time to time allow for temporary limit Increase. All departments/division managers may request lower limits on individual cards. The current City of Roanoke purchasing card program is utilized by all City departments/divisions, City Council and Appointed Officers.
