The us army corps of engineers, engineer research and development center (erdc) intends to issue an award on a sole source basis (iaw far 13.106-1(b)(1)) to vemco, a division of innovasea marine systems canada inc., 20 angus morton drive, bedford, ns, b4b 0l9 , canada, for purchase of 28, vemco acoustic telemetry tags to be implanted into endangered sturgeon in large coastal rivers of louisiana, mississippi, florida and the mississippi sound. The us army engineer research and development center (erdc), environmental laboratory (el) currently has a need for the primary objective of this project is to evaluate utilization of oyster reef habitat by gulf sturgeon prior and post reef construction.
