Detailed Description Contract notice: Delivery of postage stamps finishing machine
The further processing machine to be procured is intended for integration in the manufacturing process of postage stamp production. In the upstream process, pressure rollers are manufactured and provided. In the downstream process, the material processed in the machine to be procured (printing and checking of data matrix codes) and output as a roll or in sheet form is fed to further processing steps. The advertised machine should make it possible to apply data matrix codes (DMC) to postage stamps (PWZ) using UV-drying ink-jet printing. The incoming materials are wet-adhesive and self-adhesive postage stamps in roll format. Clear, individual data matrix codes are applied to the postage stamps, which are then read out by a vision system and assessed qualitatively. Codes that cannot be read are marked with a reject mark.
