CIDA is presently taking steps to issue identity cards for Construction Industry Craftsman as per provisions of CID Act No. 33 of 2014. Accordingly, CIDA plans to issue an identity card for any person who possesses any skill in any craft as may be determined by the rules made by the Authority, The conditions relating to the issue of craft identity shall be as prescribed by the Authority.

CIDA seeks a party who could provide the services to print craftsman identity cards incorporating modern information technology features to suit international standards. Reputed and established entities having facilities and experience are invited to send their EoI to undertake this task.
