The DGEC leads the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, commonly known as Elections Canada (EC). Requirement As of February 1, 2022, Elections Canada requires printing services, warehousing and mailing preparation of up to approximately 30,000,000 Voter Information Cards (VICs) required for a general election or referendum, including initial VICs and revised VICs
