Detailed Description Automatic ticketing

Automatic ticketing (AT) enables customers to travel by public transport without purchasing a ticket beforehand. Instead, the prices are subsequently calculated based on the trips recorded and invoiced to the customer. In 2019, SBB introduced automatic ticketing in the SBB mobile app under the name “EasyRide”. Since then, it has been the channel with the greatest sales growth.

The SBB has set itself the goal of continuing to promote EasyRide and expects high growth figures. In 2022, the number of trips will have doubled compared to the previous year. Currently, around 80,000 trips per day and around 380,000 customers per month are processed via this channel.
