To find a solution that meets our Identity (ID) Management requirements. OCPS currently has multiple systems providing ID management that require much manual intervention. We are looking for a single solution, capable of providing ID management to both staff and students, with the ability to automate as many ID lifecycle processes as possible, from provisioning accounts, authentication, reporting, and others. Other objectives include implementing a system that provides robust security, and an ability to support all user types, including staff, consultants, and students. OCPS is also looking for a scalable system as our district grows. Some of the problems OCPS is trying to solve are very specific, such as reducing the number of systems currently in use at OCPS, reducing multiple provisioning issues those multiple systems present, and automating our manual overhead.
