Detailed Description Fare Collection System

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to replace StarTran’s aging fare collection/sales system with a modern, state-of-the-art Fare Collection System (FCS) for both fixed route and paratransit services and to provide support, additional equipment, services, and maintenance on an as-needed basis throughout the useful life of the system. The resulting contract is planned to be for an initial award of four (4) years with one optional four (4) year renewal.
