Detailed Description Smartcards and Tokens_2025

Cards and tokens with smart card functionality with a contact chip must be offered for secure registration in a directory service. The cards should continue to be used for contactless identification with time recording and access control systems and should have the check card format. The PIN policy must correspond to the policy on the cards and tokens already in use. If a security problem occurs with the installed chips or if they are no longer manufactured during the contract term, a follow-up product must be supplied.
