The scope of the contract includes the creation of an electronic register by implementing a system for smart management of biodegradable household waste on the territory of the municipality of Shumen. It represents an important step towards optimizing the processes of managing biodegradable household waste and improving the quality of life in the municipality. Sensors will be installed in newly purchased containers for separate collection of biodegradable household waste under the project and the newly purchased garbage collection machines will be upgraded with hardware elements, allowing the measurement of waste quantities, ensuring a constant flow of data to a centralized management platform.
