Detailed Description RFID reader vehicle - 800 RFID Readers

Department of Vehicles and Transport intends to procure RFID readers for the municipality's pool cars.

The number of RFID readers needed is a total of 800. The need may change up or down. An initial delivery of 300 RFID readers will take place immediately. A further delivery of 500 RFID readers will take place in 2026.

RFID reader for driver identification shall, after approval by the municipality, handle the
municipality's own tags.
• Login via RFID tag to the vehicle according to the municipality's standard.
• The hardware shall be marked with a QR code containing information about MAC-adress.
• Hardware must be able to communicate via Bluetooth with Teltonika devices.
• ID from tag or RFID card must be sent to Teltonika devices.
• Hardware should be able to detect movement to notify drivers.
