Detailed Description DJ01--NEW Biometric Authentication Proof of Concept

The purpose of this RFI is to identify qualified vendors, who are able to meet Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requirements for Biometric Authentication Proof of Concept.

For the initial phase, the Contractor shall plan (e.g., meet architectural requirements, survey the site, and set milestones), deploy (e.g., install, integrate, and test systems), operate (e.g., enrollment, training, monitoring, and maintaining), and support the analysis of a Biometric Authentication Solution, based on face and / or iris recognition, to control access to restricted physical spaces for VA staff. The Contractor shall provide a COTS (i.e., ready to deploy) solution that requires minimal customization to deploy and operate within VA. The Contractor shall provide software, hardware, and implementation services.
