Detailed Description Facility ID Badging

To install new entryway CAC readers and 24/7 active video surveillance equipment for main access points across all 6 Comm’s facilities. The card readers will help keep track and identify what members are utilizing certain doorways at any given time, and to restrict personnel from areas they’re unauthorized to be.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Entry Access Control Equipment shall have the following capabilities: Equipment and solution shall be compatible with and capable of reading the current and future versions of the DoD Common Access Card (CAC) for authentication, registration and facility access.
2. The solution shall be capable of extracting only a unique identifier (e.g., FASC-N) from the CAC to authenticate entry. The solution must have the 30 March 2023 Revised SOW dated 13 October 2021 F41999-14-D-0028, P0019 ability to authenticate and grant entry access to nonCAC holders.
