Detailed Description (Amended) Door Access Control System and Badging Station for USDA ARS in Kimberly, ID

Remove existing access control system and replace with new access control system and badging workstation compatible with USDA Lenel Enterprise System IAW specifications document (attachment 1).

A. Access Control System: Provide and install a HSPD 12 compliant card access control system on the doors identified on the floor plans. Provide and install card access on the identified doors. Each door should include all appurtenances for a fully functional card access control system including but not limited to card readers, locking devices, door status switches, request to exit sensors, sounding alarms, etc.
1. Provide and install card access at the fourteen (14) locations identified on the site drawings. (see Fig. 1)
2. Provide, install and configure one (1) Lenel Client/Badging workstation on a ARS provided computer at a location approved by the site.
