Detailed Description Seamless Identity Automation (SIA) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA)

To improve its understanding of existing electronic access control, combined with automated identity verification capabilities to identify vendors capable of providing rapidly deployable systems for assessment in live airport environments in accordance with the schedule below, and in Section 5D of Attachment A, at no cost to the Government.

This SIA BAA is focused on identifying electronic access control technology and/or automated identity verification system vendors that can rapidly deploy their current systems for assessment in accordance with the schedule established in Section 5D in a live airport environment that will potentially:

 Increase access control to sterile areas of the airport
 Prevent unwarranted egress
 Address TSA capability gaps
 Improve security effectiveness
 Improve screening efficiency
