Detailed Description Biometric and signature component for use in online services of the Hessian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport and Housing

The Hessian Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport, Housing and Rural Areas (HMWVW) is responsible for the development and operation of the EfA online driving license service. Applicants applying for driving licenses via the online driving license service are required to provide a biometric photograph and a signature. For this purpose, an external component has been integrated into the online service's ten application processes, via which a biometric image and signature can be uploaded as a file. Alternatively, the signature can be entered using a pen or similar device. A limited number of processing options are currently available for data capture, e.g., for checking uploaded files.
