Detailed Description Ticketing system for public transport in Åland

The Åland Regional Government invites interested bidders to participate in this procurement for a complete ticketing system for bus traffic in Åland. The system shall include both hardware and software and enable the management of ticket sales, validation and administration. The contracting entity initially intends to use the software included in the system, but reserves the right to replace it with third-party software installed on the procured hardware during the contract period. From the time the original software is no longer used, no further compensation shall be paid for it. The customer also has the right to call for options during the contract period, such as a passenger-facing cEMV terminal with associated licenses, as well as an extension of the contract by up to five (5) years. Detailed technical and commercial requirements are set out in the delivery contract and its annexes.
