Detailed Description Smart cards – Acquisition of RFID microchips for the identification of laboratory animals

This contract concerns the acquisition of microchips for the identification of laboratory animals. The EP3 animal facility is a platform of IMRB U955. It currently houses 170 mouse lines and 5 rat lines, representing a total of 6,511 animals distributed among 1,836 cages, including 330 breeding cages. The animal facility is divided into four areas: - a SOPF breeding area, - an EOPS experimental area, - a conventional area located at the Créteil Faculty of Health, - an EOPS area located at ENVA, Chauveau building. The identification of laboratory mice and rats by RFID microchip is necessary to ensure reliable individual traceability, compliant with current standards, and to facilitate animal management.
