The goal is to ensure the availability of lightweight, durable, and high-performance barcode scanners that can scan all barcode types, including 1D, 2D, QR codes, and others, to support laboratory operations efficiently.

Scope
The scope of the tender includes:
Supply and delivery of handheld barcode scanners to multiple NHLS laboratories across KZN.
Provision of scanners that are lightweight (less than 200 grams), durable (withstanding drops from approximately 1.5 meters), and capable of continuous scanning.
Scanners must support various barcode formats such as 128, 39, 2D, QR codes, etc.
